IMPACT MONDAY – Soil, Soul, Society

May 10, 2021
4:00 pm

Inspired by the values of community and connection to life from the Schumacher College (UK), the Schumacher Sprouts offer an educational programme with transformative courses for ecological, social and personal change. Based in the Froidefontaine Farm, the courses are centered around a Trinity we deem essential for our time: Soil, Soul, Society.

The Sprouts apply a range of teachings and learning methods, varying from lectures to reflective inquiry, with an emphasis on action in the participants’ own lives. The connection with nature is at the heart of all courses while there is always a focus on how to be and act in a changing world, convinced that these competences are key to build a sustainable future.

HEAD – HEART – HANDS

The courses offer singular experiences which embrace the holistic principle « head, heart and hands », meaning that we learn connecting our hands, hearts as well as heads. This happens in the classroom, in the gardens and in the kitchen, it is part of everything we do. Our teachers are invited to share their passion in a way that interweaves with this balance in order to create a unique learning experience.

Join us on the 10th of May and be inspired by this holistic pedagogical approach. In the meantime, discover the Sprouts.

WHEN? Monday, the 10th of May, 4-5pm.
