Too often the word “lobbying” is referred as to big corporations influencing the elected representatives. Yet, lobbying can also be a useful and democratic tool that citizens should use to advocate for their cause and influence politicians in their governments between elections.
You don’t need much to lobby, often taking a stance and using your voice can spark change in your community.
Alberto Alemanno is empowering citizens to turn away from passively consuming to actively shaping public policy. Through the Good Lobby, he demystifies and democratizes lobbying, by equipping citizens and civil sector actors with the right tools to lobby for change.
WHEN? Monday 4th of May, from 4pm to 5:30pm.
