AGENDA

11.30 AM        IMPACT HOUSE DOORS OPEN

12 – 1 PM

Where capital, innovation, and inclusion meet to drive social and environmental change.

Money is changing the way it engages with society. Across Belgium, investors are channeling capital toward people and the planet, an estimated €108–132 billion, or 14% of total assets under management, all aimed at delivering measurable social and environmental outcomes.
But real impact takes more than big numbers. How do investors spot initiatives that are both financially sound and genuinely meaningful? And how can entrepreneurs turn a bold vision into tangible results, without compromise?
Solène Collin, Senior Project Manager at Impact Finance Belgium (IFB), will explore these questions head-on. In this session, she will introduce the work of IFB and its members, unpack the different types of impact investors, highlight the trends reshaping the sector, and share success stories that show what impact finance can achieve in practice.
Join us as we ask the question at the heart of it all: can capital truly become a force for inclusion and social progress, and what might that look like in tomorrow’s economy?

1 – 2 PM

The question of sufficiency is central to the economy of the future. It relates to planetary boundaries, reducing inequality, and also to happiness. What do we mean by ‘enough’? And how can we incorporate this concept into our lives and organisations? Join our safe space to discuss this in depth using the Jefferson method.

Spaces are limited to 15 participants for this intimate session, so we recommend arriving early!

This workshop explores how artificial intelligence is reshaping our democracies, revealing both the risks it poses and the opportunities. We will examine how AI can amplify threats such as disinformation, bias, and manipulation, while also highlighting how it can strengthen democratic processes through moderation, translation, summarisation, and large‑scale civic engagement. To ground these ideas, we will showcase Make.org’s AI‑powered participatory platforms, present concrete use cases, and introduce collaborative initiatives that organisations can join to reinforce democratic resilience.

3 – 4 PM

What if the next person to change the world was someone you already know? At Ashoka, we believe that people from all walks of life have already found solutions to today’s most pressing challenges: we just need to find them and help them thrive.

In this session, you’ll step into the shoes of a changemaker talent scout and learn how to identify visionary social entrepreneurs around you. You’ll discover what makes a changemaker unique, the secrets of our selection process, and how your network can be a goldmine of talent. Become a nominator and help us reach the innovative projects and voices we don’t know about yet.
